Welcome to our first Community project; 'BLUEJACKET'.

 

She is the last known Grimsby duster box boat used to collect the fish from the fishing smacks in port. Her approximate age is early 1900's.

 

Kindly donated to the MHCE, she is gaff rigged and includes a Volvo MD1 7hp engine.

 

We need YOUR help to restore and eventually utilise this beautiful old lady with day trips and fishing adventures in the planning.

 

If you or school group would like to get involved in this amazing project, we can provide the expertise and tools, all you need is your overalls, PPE and a big smile.
